In this refreshingly honest book, pastor and author Kurt Bubna shares personal stories of his struggles and failures in life, and how God brought him through it all with love and grace. Bubna explains that life’s most valuable and lasting lessons are often learned in the dark valleys of defeat and despair, and shares how he learned to “grow” through his struggles and to put his faith in a caring Father.

Written with humility and a good deal of humor, Epic Grace is a wonderfully inspiring book that reminds us that God loves despite our shortcomings and the foolish things we do -that’s the true nature of God’s grace. As Bubna so brilliantly states:  “Most important, I’ve learned that God loves idiots- including the one behind the face I see in the mirror each morning.”

I think this book ties in nicely with another book I recently reviewed, Honest To God by Josh Weidmann, focusing on staying real with God to have a genuine relationship with Him. A wonderfully inspiring read!
