Author Guest Post: Andrew Joyce

29913910My name is Andrew Joyce and I write books for a living. Johanna has been kind enough to allow me a little space on her blog to promote my new novel RESOLUTION: Huck Finn’s Greatest Adventure. I think it’s a good book, but what do I know? Anyway, I’m kinda shy about tooting my own horn. So I think I’ll turn things over to my dog Danny—Danny the Dog. He always has an attitude and usually does not speak highly of me. But please understand that we co-exist as the old Soviet Union and the United States once co-existed. We tolerate each other. So without further ado, here’s Danny.

Andrew took me away from some very important business of mine to help him out here. There was a duck outside the boat we live on and I had to bark at him. It’s my job.

Now on to the reason why I was so unceremoniously dragged here: For a person who works with words for a living, Andrew has very little to say in real life. He wants me to tout his book for him, but I don’t think I will. Instead, I think I’ll tell you a little about where we live.

I, of course, am Danny the Dog, purveyor of wit, wisdom, and words.

The only question is, can this DC city girl make it work, or is she destined for another failure- and another broken heart?

After his life is turned upside down by failed romance, the only woman Charlie wants in his life is his little girl, Lillie. As a single dad, he scrapes to get by, working multiple jobs just to make ends meet. So when he accepts a job as foreman from Jubilee Hamilton, he swears it’s just so he can save up enough money to make a better life for him and his daughter. Featured Book: Of Faith and Freedom by Joe Gilbert

29060424Of Faith and Freedom: How Cultural Marxism and Political Correctness Hijacked America and How to Take It Back!

by Joe Gilbert

Cultural Marxism has been a powerful force in American culture for almost a century, shaping institutions such as school, family, and government. In the 1920s and during World War II, socialist ideas that originated at the Frankfurt School, also known as the Institute for Social Research, began to seep into the social fabric of the US.

As the cultural Marxist movement gained power, the reach of the federal government expanded, and the basic value of each individual citizen was diminished. The role of the Judeo-Christian belief system, which emphasizes absolute truth and the dignity of the individual, has been ignored-with disastrous consequences.
