Over the course of several months, I have been receiving an increasing number of hateful and offensive messages through both my blog and personal accounts from a variety of people. Until now, I have been willing to ignore these attacks and delete the offensive messages.
However, it has recently come to my attention that some of my author friends are now being attacked as well. Whether or not these events are related, I don’t know, and quite frankly, I don’t care. I do, however, issue this warning-
To the person(s) responsible:
When you attack me, my beliefs, and the things I stand for, you harm only yourself. I forgive you, and am praying for you.
But know this- when you attack my friends, you have absolutely crossed the line. I will no longer tolerate it.
From here forward, all offensive, obscene, hateful, or otherwise derogatory messages will be saved, documented, and reported.
And here is your warning-
If you do not stop, I will expose you. It’s as simple as that. The choice is yours.
To all of my readers and followers, I apologize for the personal message and thank you for your understanding.
Remembering with extreme gratitude those who courageously gave their lives to ensure the freedoms that we as Americans enjoy today.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.”
– General George S. Patton
In loving memory of Wade, you are a true hero. May God continually bless your family with love and all joy.
First of all, I would like to thank all of the wonderful new followers on the blog, as well as the authors and publishers who have been reaching out to Epic Book Quest recently. Over the past few months, interest in the blog has grown exponentially, and I would like to thank everyone for their kind support and interest in our reviews!
Due to an absolutely overwhelming amount of review inquiries over the past few weeks, I have decided to narrow down the genres we will be accepting for review.
We now currently only accept books in the following genres:
- Christian / Christian Fiction / Christian devotionals
- Historical Fiction
- Detective / Cozy mystery
If we have already accepted your book for review and it doesn’t fit into these categories, don’t worry! We’ll still review the book. These rules are just moving forward from this point on.
Authors may also note that I have removed our PO Box address from the site- this is because we have been receiving far more books in the mail than we will ever be able to review. Instead, I have requested that all inquiries be sent to our email, visible on our submission guidelines page.
We have also added new services for authors and publishers seeking to promote their books on the blog, all of which are visible on our Promote Your Book page: Continue reading “New changes in submission guidelines plus new services offered:”
Okay, well, maybe not. But I seriously can’t get these things off my mind. Can you blame me? Continue reading “It’s Like Reading, Only Better!”
